Youare offerding on a WONDERFUL LARGE 19c figuredwalnut veneered restored andrepolished jewellery box. Dates approximately 1860/1890.

InWONDERFUL restored condition.

FULLY LOCKS.

No missing or replaced veneer.Just one old bruise to the bottom right front edge which is nothing considering the boxes great age. Wonderful figured walnut to all sides. A superb large wonderfully restored jewellery box.

The fixed gold tooled backing board to the inner lid is original to the box with minor wear. We have lined the inner part of this.

The box retains its original brass central cartouche carry handle and brass keyhole escutcheon.

Displayswonderful colour. The pictures really do not do it justice.

Comprisinga wonderful interiorthat boasts a later wooden tray finished to a superb standard that compliments.This has been relined in expensive velvetmaterial of thehighest quality, the same as the bottompart of the interior of the box.

Allthe added dividers within the tray can easily be repositioned or removed ifdesired. The tray can hold many rings in an upright position.

Underneaththe additional tray and beneath the base of the box have also been lined invelvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.

A superb box, and would make afantastic gift.
