A superb 19th c majolica plate with raised central portrait of a female.

Fine detailing to this majolica plate. Pink border with floral and scrolling pattern in relief and to the centre - in turquoise - is a beautiful image/portrait of a young female wearing a bonnet with large floppy bow beneath chin. All in relief. The female is superbly detailed with wonderful facial detail. No's impressed to back.

Measures diameter of 7.75"..

Condition is excellent and age commensurate. Some very minor age grazing to the glaze in places. Nothing of significance. All as perimages.
