During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the 19th century.

Of a Black Forest origin.
Superb oak carving of the head of the male figure.
Wonderful intricate carved facial features.
Portrayed with the beard and decorative hood.
Relief carved, therefore a piece carving.
Signed to the base: Bordet or similar.
The oak male head carving has an overall height of about 8inches.
Base size of about 5.5 x 3.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:
any major blemishes.
