This isa superb large Japanese cloisonne charger with the intricate detailed decoration of the stork bird in flight and other of which:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from theperiod of the 19th century.
Date about c1890s.
Of a Japanese origin.
One of two similar.
Cloissone over a bronze.
Large cloisonne charger with:
blue colouring with:
the stork bird in flight with the pattern decoration around the edge of the circumferences.
Bird flying to the left.
Intricate wire decoration underneath.
It has an overall dia of about 11.75inches.
Overall height of about 1.5inches.
Base dia centrally of about 6.75inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes.
