This isa superb Japanese cloisonne vase with the intricate detailed decoration including the figure, birds, blossom, leaves & other of which:

During our research we have been informed itcertainly dates from theperiod of the 19th century.

Date about c1880s.

Of a Japanese origin.

Cloissone over a bronze.

Blue in colour with:

Intricate and fine detailing of cloissone of the:

figure with a bird to the top of his head, another bird, blossom, leaves & other decoration around the circumference.

Intricate decoration above & below the rims.

Blue base and internally.

Label under base of a previous owner.

It has an overall height of about 10inches.

Overall max dia centrally of about 5.5inches.

Base dia of about 4inches.

Dia across the dia at the top of about 4inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall conditionis very good and is not subject to:

any major blemish.

Has an early repair to the right of the head of the figure.

All as perpictures.
