Superb 19thc Black Forest oak carved book slide/shelf with a bird to either end and with oak leaves carved around each bird. Dating c.1860\'s.

Excellent attention to detail with all carving in relief.

Measures some 12.75\" length x 4.5\" max width x 6\" height at carved ends.

Condition is excellent and age commensurate overall with one of the birds having legs broken off. All as per images.
