Superb 19thc Black Forest oak carving of two wrestling bears.

Excellent attention to detail on thisfineBlack Forest carving of two wrestling bears. Wonderful relief carved facial detail to the bears. Both wearing large wrestling shorts. Wonderful wrestling pose with one bear lifting the other in the air.

Figures measures some 7\" height x 4.75\" at base.

Condition: Minor evidence of historic worm and with one bear havingminordamage to oneear as images show. A little bit of staining tothe bears in small areas. All as per images.
