Superb large 19thc gothic oak carved capitol of a devilish grotesque. Dating c. 1870.

Excellent attention to detail on this stunning oak carved capitol of a grotesque. Really wonderful and detailed facial carving. To the top of the head are what appear to be horns. Solid oak carving of fine quality and detail.

Measures some 8.5\" height x 6\" max width x 6.75\" max depth.

Condition is excellent and age commensurate with a little bit of minor shaving to the wood on horned pieces. Nothing of import. All as per images.
