This gorgeous antique French cast iron letter box dates from the late 1800s.
I have left it just as I found it and it will wax or pait as required.
It is superbly cast and the border edge is scrolled and curled with two end finials.
The flap itself reads LETTRES in decorative script.
The flap opens and closes freely and is all good and strong.
The back has two holes for fixing.

Width 10.5\"
Height 3\" max.
