On offer is this splendid Victorian solid silver Scottish Celtic brooch.

From a private collection in Aberdeen.

Circa 1860 / 1880.

The brooch is unmarked as was common during this period; however it has been fully & professionally tested by a jeweller and is guaranteed silver.

Large in size with a thick tubular border and interlinking cross design to centre; all beautifully engraved.

The brooch retains its 19th century period fittings, which are in good working order.

I have purposely left the brooch uncleaned; as preferred by most buyers of antique silver.

Measurements: 4.8cm in diameter by 6mm deep / 1.8\" in diameter by 0.2\" deep.

Weight: 17.15gms.

In good antique condition; there are 4 small dings to outer border. Nothing of any great significance but noted for accuracy.
