Description A stunning largeheavy English antiqueVictoriansolid sterling silvergraduating curb-linkalbert pocket watch chain, in excellentconditionand with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1894.Superb quality genuine 123 year old chain, all original and matching,with handsome chunkysilver chain links, and is complete with a silver t-bar and securesilver swivel/dog catch which has a good strong spring. Attached is a beautiful decorative antique pierced and engraved solid silver fob medal which has no added engraved inscriptions.Lovely heavy silver weight, approx 55 grams. Looks only little used.

Measurements Measures approx 13.4 inches (341mm) in length, with a further 1.5 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique Victorian solid sterling silver, with English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1894(date letter \"u\") stamped on the t-bar and also the swivel/dog catch, so definitely all original.There are lion passant silver hallmark stamps on the chain links and the attached silver fob medal is English silver hallmarked Birmingham 1900, (date letter \"a\").

Maker Silversmiths initials \"E.P\", stamped on the t-bar and on the centre chain link.

ConditionExcellent condition,no splits or solder repairs, and with only minor wear on the chain links, a beautiful chain, looks only little used. The swivel/dog catch isin lovely working order, opening and closing securely with a strong spring. Handsome attached English antique silver medal with no engraved prize inscriptions. Fine quality example with agoodheavy silver weight.
