Description Asuperb English antique solid sterling silver\"double-albert\" pocket watch chain by the silversmith William Walter Cashmore, inexcellent condition and with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1919.Beautifulquality genuine 99 year old silver example,with nice graduating silver chain links and with a silvert-bar and2 swivel/dog catches, both with good strong springs. Completewitha handsome large attached antique solid silver vesta/match case with a gilded interior. Good heavy chain, weighs approx55 grams,(total). Looks only little used.

Measurements Measures approx 14.5 inches (370mm) in length, end to end, with a further 1 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique solid sterling silver, with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1919(date letter \"u\") on the t-bar and on one of theswivel/dog catches, the other is silver hallmarked Birmingham 1911, (date letter \"m\").There are clear lion passant hallmark stamps on allofthechainlinks and the vesta case is hallmarked Birmingham 1906, (date letter \"g\").

Maker Silversmiths initials \"W.W.C\", stampedon the t-bar and one catch; the other is stamped \"H.B & S\".

ConditionExcellent condition, with hardly any wear on the chain links, andthe 2 swivel/dog catches work perfectly, opening and closing securely and have good strong springs. The attached silver vesta is also in excellent condition, no nasty dents and the lid spring is still very strong.
