Description A beautiful large English antiqueEdwardian solid sterling silvertable box by the silversmiths Deakin & Francis Ltd, in excellent conditionand with full English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1912. Lovely quality genuine105 year old silver box,with a hinged silver lid and decorated with attractive protruding scrolled border edge rims that assist lid opening.Complete with its original clean fully gilded interior and is a nice heavy silver weight, approx 62 grams. There are no engraved monograms or crests.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1912, (date letter \"n\"). Good clear matchinghallmarks on box and lid.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"D & F\" (Deakin & Francis Ltd).

ConditionExcellentcondition withno splits or cracks, no solder repairs, definitely no wear holes and no nasty knocks ordents, just a couple of very minor little surface bruises on the base, really nothing at all and a lovely silver box.The silverlid hinge works perfectly and the lid opens and closes securely. The interior gilding is original and still virtually 100% intact. Beautiful quality, with a good weight and with no engraved inscriptions or crests.
