Description Asuperb genuineEnglish antiqueEdwardian solid sterling silvercurb-link albert pocket watch chain by Herbert Bushell & Sons, in excellent conditionand with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1912.Beautiful quality genuine104 year oldexample, all original and matching, witha silver t-bar and secure silver swivel/dog catch andattached isa handsome large antique pierced solid silver & gilt fob medal wit period inscription.Weighs a heavy approx 45 grams(total).

Measurements Measures approx 13.2 inches (336mm) in length,with a further1.5inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1912(date letter \"n\") onthe t-bar andthe swivel/dog catch, so 100% all original and matching.There are lion passant silver hallmark stamps on all of the chain links and the large pierced silver fob medal has hallmarks for Birmingham 1891, (date letter \"r\").

Maker Silversmiths initials \"H.B & S\", (Herbert Bushell & Sons), stamped on the t-bar, the swivel catch and also on the centre chain link.

ConditionExcellent condition,no splits or solder repairs, and with only minor age wear on the chain links. The swivel/dog catch works perfectly, opening and closing securely with a good strong spring.A very nice all original example, a good weightand with a handsome attached silver fob medal.
