SUPERB DUTCH ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER SNUFF BOX BACKGAMMON PLAYING D TENIERS 1920:

A beautiful decent sizedDutch silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with the Minerva head and lion passantmarks (minimum 833 standard), a makers mark possibly BWE, and the date code for1920. It has been nicely designed having a picture top lid depicting what isthought to be a painting by David Teniers showing 18thcenturybackgammon players – see is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures2.5 inches (6.3cms) by 2 inches by 1 inch tall and weighs 50 grams. A veryinteresting example.
