This is an exquisite example of a genuine early Japanese Tanto Samurai dagger handle. It is 13.5 cm in length by 4 cm by 3 cm. You\'ll see from the pics that the end piece has become detached from the butt. This is how I bought it from an antiques fair. It\'s an easy fix to put it back on, just needing a dab of glue, but I\'ve left it as is for authenticity; you can see the original wood plug that was used as part of the construction.
