Description A beautiful genuineEnglish antique 19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver chatelaineneedle caseholder, by the silversmiths E S Barnsley & Co - (1887-1908), in excellent clean condition and with English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1888. Superb quality genuine 130 year old sterling silver example, (definitely not a modern re-production), has a hinged silver lid and is all-over decorated with attractive embossed foliage and scrolls. Complete with its original silver link chains and attachment ring and there are no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms.

Measurements Measures approx.3.5 inches (88mm) in length, including hanging chains x0.7 inches(17mm) wide and is 0.5 inches (13mm) deep.

Date English antique 19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver, with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1888, (date letter \"o\"). Lovely clear marks.Maker Makers initials \"E.S.B\" (E S Barnsley & Co - 1887-1908).ConditionExcellent clean condition, with no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs or wear holesand no nasty knocks or dents, a very nice quality example.
