Offered is a superb pair of Georgian salt cellars in the inverted pear-shape so typical for the 1770\'s, made by Samuel Middleton I in London in 1775. Measure 2 1/2\" (6.6 cm)high , 31/2\" (9cm) across, weigh a respectable 5.514 oz (156.3g) The insides of the bowls silver-gilt, gadrooned border to foot and pear-shaped bowl, oval foot, silver marks inside foot - see picture, monogrammed EED, excellent condition.Oversea buyers please wait for invoice before paying.Thanks for looking.
