Listed this week is anincredible Estate collection Silver and Estate Treasures.There isamazing examples of Sterling and Continental Solid Silver from all over the world including Georgian Pieces, a very Rare Tiffany Coffee Pot and a fabulous Sheffield Plate Tea Urn. On Night 2 there is incredible Estate Treasures including Museum quality Glass, Porcelain and Clocks plus a large collection of Stemware including Waterford and so much more. Also this will most likely be our last Silver and Estate Treasures sale until the Fall Season.

Up for sale with is an absolutely incredible 19th Century French Sevres Porcelain and Bronze Mounted Vase. The Vase is one of the largest and I believe most important examples of 19th Century Sevres Porcelain I have sold, if not ever then in a very long time.

The Vase features a dark cobalt blue background with large Gold Gilt porcelain wreaths that are applied in very high relief and surround Hand Painted portraits of King Louis XV and I believe either his wife the Queenor 3 of his daughters, sorry I am not an expert in these things.As you can see the portrait of the King is artist signed, well worth looking into further. The Vase also features lavish raised Gold enamel and a wonderful large bold finial to the lid.Itis amazing that the original Solid heavy Bronze stand and lid mounts are still with the Vase. The Vase displays beautifully but has had some restoration to the lid which is barely noticeable on the outside and there is a crack to the very top rim. That said this is very minor for such a large and important Vase. The Vase makes a very impressive display measuring a very large 26-1/4 inches tall on stand or 22-1/2 inches tall of the stand and 10 inches wide overall. The Vase has a nice hand painted Sevres mark to the base and the inside of the lid and I am told would date to the 19th Century, Victorian Period. I have seen large Vases like this with more generic views of Birds etc being sold for many thousands of dollars, this is much more unique and desirable in my opinion but it will be sold to the highest buyer without reserve as all our sales have run for over 12 years here on !
