Forsale isa WONDERFUL18/19clarge figured Georgianmahoganyveneered restored and repolished jewellery box. Dates approximately 1800/1840.

InWONDERFUL restored condition.

No missing or replaced timber.

Thebox is made from solid mahogany with its original keyhole escutcheon. The solidwood bun feet we believe are original to the box.

Displayswonderful colour. The pictures really do not do it justice.

Boxretains the hinges, original lock,and top catch with replacement pins.

Suppliedwith a silk tassel and Victorian key that sadly does not lock the box and issupplied and described as being decorative only.

Comprisinga wonderful interiorthat boasts a later wooden tray finished to a superb standard that compliments.This has been relined in expensive velvetmaterial of thehighest quality, the same as the bottompart of the interior of the box.

Allthe added dividers within the tray can easily be repositioned or removed ifdesired. The tray can hold many rings in an upright position.

Underneaththe additional tray and beneath the base of the box has also been lined invelvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.

A superb box, and would make afantastic gift.
