Description:

For sale here is this extremely high-quality Chinese Republic Periodporcelain wall plate / charger, which dates from around 1930-1950. This superb plate / charger is signed to the base with a four character red seal mark, within two squares. The plate also has calligraphy and a red seal to the front. It is pierced to enable wall hanging.

It is exquisitely painted with a scene of two ladies in a garden by a riverside. One lady is washing yarn in the river and the other lady is spinning the yarn. The scene is enhanced with raised enamelling. The painting is truly superb - even the border is intricately painted by hand!

The plate measures just over 10.5 inches (26.7 cm)in diameter.

This lovely piece is in perfect vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, flaking or restoration. Please view all photos for details, as they form part of the shipping is via Registered Airmail. The package will weigh approximately 1.8 kg. UK postage is via Special Delivery.
