Description A really stunninglarge-sizegenuineEnglish antiquesolid sterling silver & realcrocodile skin wallet by the silversmith Frederick Wich - 1898-1903, in excellent conditionand with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham1913. Superb quality genuine 103 year old example, handsome 5.75\" size, it has 4large original matching solid silver mounts on the corners andinside it has its original soft kid/calf leather fitted interior with 3 separate compartments. There is a good sprung lid catch and the crocodile skin has a wonderful age colour patina. A real beauty, one of the best Ihave had.

Measurements Great size, measures approx 5.75inches (145mm) x 4.2 inches (115mm) and is0.55 inches (14mm) deep.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver, with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1913(date letter \"o\"). Lovely clear matching hallmarks on all 4silver corners.Maker Silversmiths initials \"F.W.\", (Frederick Wich- 1898-1913).ConditionExcellent condition and ready to be used. No splits or cracks to the 4 silver corner mounts, no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents, just a few minor little surface bruises, really nothing at all.The real crocodile skin is still in superb clean condition, no splits or tears and is nice and supple and has a wonderful age colour/patina. The soft interior leather compartments is all original and in great condition, no damaged or tears, just has a bit of marking/foxing through age. The sprung lid catch works perfectly and opens and closes securely. No engraved or written inscriptions, a small monogram has been rubbed out from the crocodile skin at one time and is no longer readable.
