SUPERB LARGE WMF ART NOUVEAU PEWTER JEWELLERY CASKET ORIGINAL SILK LINING
This magnificent truly elegant Art Nouveau polished pewter jewellery casket is adorned with stylised rose buds
It was produced in the 1900\'s within the Jugendstil Design Period It was manufactured by the world renowned WMF This superb casket comes to you in fully polished condition Has a central plateau for and engraved dedication which believe it or not has been left blank which in itself adds so much more value to this delightful jewellery box Lifting the lid we can see the original scarlet silk lining - Sadly this is a little worn with small frays However I suppose for a 1900\'s item we are lucky that the lining is still there at all Fully Marked on the base as WMF This is a very large casket measuring 9.25\"( 24CM) BY 6\"(15CM) DEEP AND 4.5\"(11.5CM) HIGH,The casket is over 100 years old so will have minors signs of age and use This is a genuine WMF and NOT a reproduction The overall condition is excellent and 100% Authentic This very elegant Item would make an ideal starter piece for any new collection of Jugendstil Zinn Or Perhaps even just and enhancement to your existing collection EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION OFFERS
