SUPERB MEIJI PERIOD JAPANESE SILVER WIRE CLOISONNE KORO, CORAL FINIAL:

Description: This sale is for a superb Meiji period Japanese cloisonne koro. The koro has a fine varigated green ground with silver wire cloisonne decoration of maple leaves and flowers. The handles and feet have a deep red cloisonne ground. The finial has white fish scale cloisonne and a beautiful quality deep red real coral cabochon to the top.

Due to legal restictions shipping the coral overseas - there will be no international shipping for this item.

Age: Thiskoro date to the Meiji period.

Size: This fine koro measures 6.9 cm. to the top of the finial and 11.2 cm. in diameter from the outside of the handles.

Condition: This koro is in very good condition with only age appropriate wear and a few lines (possibly in the making) the cloisonne on the top (see close-up photos). There are a few flakes/chips to the turquoise interior of the lid (see close-up photos). There is a small chip to the coral (see close-up photo). Please see all photos as they are an integral part of the description.
