This is a superb Staffordshire female child figurine feeding a parrot, perched on clock with a seated black & white dog to the base ofwhich:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.
Date about c1860s.
Staffordshire female child figurine.
Portrayed standing on a rainbow coloured step feeding a perched parrot.
Clock face with grapes & vine leaves.
Yong child in boots, cobalt blue dress with hat.
A red sash across her body.
Wonderful facial features.
To the base: a seated black & white spaniel dog.
Mounted onto the decorative hollowed base.
The hollowed base has an overall size of about 3.5 x 2.75inches.
It has an overall height of about 7.5inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is without any major blemish except:
due to age: overall fine crazing with:
to the rear at the base, a firing crack from the time of manufacture.

Besides being a very collectable, mid 19th century Staffordshire, female figurine, feeding the perched parrot on the clock face with grapes & vine decoration with: the seated black & white seated spaniel dog. c1860s, would also look fabulous displayed.
