This is a superb Staffordshire gothic castle pastille burner with the turrets, chimney spill vases, mounted onto the decorative base with intricate flowers of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid period of the 19th century.

Gothic decoration to the front of the castle with the:

open arched windows and gothic stained glass.

Mounted onto the decorative base with the steps to the front door.

Intricate flowers to front & side.

Open area to the rear for placing pastille burners.

It has an overall height of about 4.5inches.

Hollow base with overall size ofabout 4.75 x 3.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is subject to:

chipped tops to both turrets.

Hairline crack to the rear which continues across the top..

Other minor blemishes of minor hairlines to the front.

Due to age: overall fine crazing.
