This isa superb Staffordshire porcellaneous sheep with applied chipped decoration of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the mid 19th century.

Dates about c1840s.

Porcellaneous.

A standing sheep with the separate legs.

Applied chipped decoration with the wonderful facial detailing.

Mounted onto the decorative oval hollow base.

Ithasan overall height of about 3.5inches.

Base size of about 2.75 x 1.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemishes except: a graze to the nose and tips of the ears.

A very minor fine hairline to the base at the rear.

Minor nibbles to the edge of the base.

Due to age: rubbing to the gilt band around the circumference.

All as perpictures.
