Superb mid 19thc Thomas Parr Staffordshireporcellanous figure of a girl asleep leaning against her Irish Setter dog. Dating c1850.

Excellent attention to detail on this fine rare model. The female child wears a blue dress with white spots on and orange shoes. Portrayed asleep with her arm around her black and white Irish Setter dog. A really charming depiction. The girl has separate leg moulds. A wooden spoon lays on the naturalistic base beside the dog\'s nose. Both child and dog have really wonderful faces. Gilt trim decorating the shaped base.

Measures some 3.5\" height x 5.5\" at base.

Condition is excellentand age commensurate. See all images please.
