Abeautiful Norwegian sterling silver and Guilloche enamelled pin dish. It ishallmarked STERLING J TOSTRUP NORWAY.For those unaware J Tostrup is a well-respected Oslo based firm founded in1832. I would date this piece to c1940-1950. It has been beautifully design havinga vibrant blue guilloche enamelled bowl. It is in super condition with thesilver being free from dings splits and repairs and the enamel being free fromchips cracks and repairs, a single minute scratch. It measures over 3.75 inches (9.8cms) across andweighs 51 grams. A beautifully designed stunning piece.
