Up for sale with is a Superb quality Pair of 1800 Georgian Sterling Silver Entree Dishes. The Entree Dishes are top quality English Solid Sterling Silver examples that show fine signs of being completely hand made. The Entree Dishes are also \"Double Stamped\" which means the inside rims of the lids are also decorated with a great rope design and the handles are removable so you can use the lids as extra serving dishes when extra company arrives. The Entree Dishes have nice Hand Etched Family Armorial Crests which I am sure could be traced back to an important service or family. The Entree Dishes are in substantially good condition, with some light marks throughout and the 2 lids appear to have finely done old restoration spots of solder. The Entree Dishes are all original, the lids even have 1 dot on one and 2 dots on the other with the handles having the same 1 and 2 dots. The Lids also fit the base dishes perfectly. The Entree Dishes make for a very nice display and are practical for modern use as well measuring 12-1/4\" long by 9\" wide by 5-1/4\" tall overall. The Dishes have a quality combined weight of2744 grams. The Dishes are all Hallmarked throughout, some are worn and I can not make out a full maker\'s mark but the marks for London, England, Sterling Silver and the Date 1800 are all nice and clear. I doubt many all original Pairs of Georgian Period Sterling Silver Entree Dishes come up for sale, let alone without reserve !
