This is a superb pair of Staffordshire male & female scottish figurines of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the mid 19th century.

Awonderful portrayal of the pair of the scottish figurines,

Both are portrayed standing next to a pedestal with a decorative box.

Each holds an item in their hands.

A left and a right.

Both in wonderful dress attire of scottish tartan wit, both wearing a hat.

Mounted onto the decorative oval hollowed bases with the gilt bands.

Each has an overall height of about 8.75inches.

Hollow bases underneath with overall sizes ofabout 3.25 x 2.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent and both are without any major blemish:

due to age both are subject to:

overall fine crazing with: again due to age, areas of loss of colouring.

one has a fine hairline to the side.
