These are a superb pair of Staffordshire seated white & gilt seated spaniel dogs with the embossed numbers of 3 underneath each of which:

during our research: we have been informed they datefrom the mid 19th century:

date aboutc1860s.

Wonderfulpair of the Staffordshire white & gilt seated spaniel dogs withthe wonderful facial decoration to both with:

the gilt coloured, chains, collars and locks.

Embossed numbers of 3 underneath each.

A left and a right.

Pottery.

Wonderful overall portrayals.

Each has an overall height of about 9inches.

Hollowed bases with an overall size underneathof about 6 x 3.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent and both are without any major blemishes except:

one has a chip under the base to the rear edge.

Due to age: both having rubbing to the gilt.

All as perpictures.
