Up for sale with is a Superb Pair of 1803 Georgian Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Epergne Fruit Bowls. The Sterling Silver Stands are some of the finest I have seen with very crisp Leaf and Berry designs and Paw Feet. There is also a very fine pierced fence design around the top border and the Stands are far finer than my photos show. The Glass Bowls are almost certainly the originals, they are for sure Georgian Period examples and fit perfectly in the Stands. The Glass Bowls are finely cut throughout a great sawtooth top rim. The Stands are fully Hallmarked for the fine Period Silversmith Jonathan Perkins I, London England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter \"H\" for 1803. The Stands are in really amazing condition with no damage or repairsand a rich lustrous patina. The Glass Bowls are also in excellent condition for the age with some rim chips but no cracks or repairs. The Bowls are a nice diminutive size, which I have not personally seen before, measuring5-3/4 inches long by4 inches wide and sitting5-1/2 inches tall overall. The Stands themselves measure4-7/8 inches long by3-1/8 inches wideby4-3/4 inches tall and have a combined weight of601 grams, being nice thick Sterling Silver throughout.
