Description -Superb antique rectangular good gauge solid silver card case with hinged lid and thumb piece.
Beautiful hand engraved scrolls and flowers plus a central cartouchewith anengraved inscriptiondated 1903
The interior is silver-gilt (Gold washed).
Fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter \"b\" for the year 1901 and the makers mark \"J & C\" which is Jones & Compton.
Condition -The card case is in good condition, there is a bump on the edge and a ding to thelid\'s corner.
The decoration is in good order but has loss of definition, the hinge is in good working but has a bit of wobble.
The interior silver gilt is invery goodcondition being nice and bright.
