SUPERB QUALITY EGYPTIAN SOLID SILVER ENAMEL LETTER OPENER c1900 ANTIQUE:

A beautiful top quality Egyptian silverand enamel letter opener. It is marked with tiny touch marks - see photo, and tests as high grade silver. Iwould date it to c1900. It has been superbly designed with its silver handlebeing decorated in enamel with Egyptian figures and hieroglyphs. It is in superb conditionbeing free from dings splits and repairs. Note it has 1035 written on it which is original, I do not know what it means it could be a museum number, this will polish off. It measures almost 8.5 inches (21.3cms)long and weighs 37 grams. A beautifully made very unusual piece.
