DescriptionAsuperb rare decorative Englishantique late Victoriansolid sterling silver cigarette box by the silversmiths Deakin & Francis,in lovely condition with its original cedar-wood lined interior and with full English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1901.Excellent quality genuine 114 year oldsilver box, witha hinged silver lid and decorated with beautiful embossed flowers and scrolls. Hasa protruding silver edge lip on the front to assist lid opening and has its original leather coveringon the base.Fine heavy silver weight, approx.444 grams, including wood lining. No engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms and nothing has been erased.

Tiny little pin-head repair in the cartouche, again really nothing, (see photos). The silver hinged lid worksperfectly and the lid opens and closes tightly and securely. The interiorcedar-wood liningis all original and ingreat condition, no losses ormissing pieces.Beautiful qualityandsuperbly all-over decorated.
