Wonderful Antique Russian Late 19th Early 20th Century Solid Silver & Niello Snuff Box
Description -Superb rectangular Ivan LebedkinRussian solid silver snuff box with hinged lid and thumb piece.
The snuff box has beautiful niello work with a building scene and a leaf pattern on the lid, the base has a criss cross pattern with a central oval cartouche andpatternedsides.
The snuff box has the Kokoshnik 84 hallmark indicating 84 grade solid silver with the Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin 1898-1914 mark.
Condition -The snuff box is in very good condition there are no dents, dinks, splits, holes or repairs, there is a slight dint on the lid, the niello work is in excellent condition with no wear is no wear, the hinge is is excellent working order being nice and tight with no looseness and shutting the lid nice and tight.
Dimensions & Weight -The box is 6cm wide x 3cm long x 1.9cm high the weight is 45.6 grams.
