WART\" PRODUCTION CEL FROM WALT DISNEY STUDIOS - \"THE SWORD IN THE STONE\" - GOUACHE ON CEL, 1963.THIS IS AN ORIGINAL HAND-PAINTED PRODUCTION ANIMATION CEL OF ARTHUR/WART - SET ON A COLOR LITHOGRAPHIC BACKGROUND, MATTED AND FRAMED. \"The Sword in the Stone,\" 1963 is the 18th full length feature film produced by Walt Disney. It was released on December 25, 1963by Buena Vista Distribution. The film was based on the novel of the same name, that was first published in 1938. It was to be the final Disney animated film released before Walt Disney\'s death on December 15, 1966.

Wart is a young boy who aspires to be a knight’s squire. On a hunting trip he falls in on Merlin, a powerful but amnesiac wizard who has plans for him beyond mere squiredom. He starts by trying to give him an education, believing that once one has an education, one can go anywhere. Needless to say, it doesn’t quite work out that way.

This is a great cel of Arthur/Wart- 1/2 shot figure, eyes open. A wonderful cel from one of Walt Disney\'s most memorable contemporary films.
