Top quality, stamped Haywood-Wakefield desk. What\'s unique is the white Formica top and the lower, built-in bookshelf. The drawer pulls are also killer. I\'m pretty sure this is solid birch, but some listed have claimed it is maple. This desk is in great shape, despite being at least 60 years old. Like all vintage treasures, it has been used and has developed character over the years. Drawers operate smoothly and are finger jointed. Its top flight materials and craftsmanship.
