Up forsale is a salesman sample of a resilient, spring wheel. These were used around 1910-1920 on automobiles, trains and motorcycles. Please see the old photo I included, it is a very similar wheel. This piece is in decent original condition but it does have some missing nuts and a few cracks. This is exactly how I found it, I blew it off with air but I have done nothing to clean it. It is mostly made of brass or bronze, the springs are steel and the spokes are hardwood. It measures approximately 10-3/4\" in diameter.This piece was on display for 70 plus years in a private collection.
