Greetings fellow Star Wars fans,
I am the founder of the leading Star Wars fan community in Turkey and also the commanding officer of the 501st Legion Turkish Outpost. I\'ve got something that can be considered \"rare\" to offer you.
We were on a trip to Tunisia on the last week of July to visit the Star Wars sets. As you all know, these sets were built to depict the sandy planet of Tatooine, home of Luke Skywalker. We went to Tozeur first and visited the Mos Espa village set in the northern side of Nefta.
I was prepared to pick up sand from the sets as souvenir, so that I could keep some for myself and give the rest to my friends. However, my plan was to pick it up from the Lars Homestead exterior set (the iglo house) in southern Nefta. Therefore I passed Mos Espa first for the sand.
When we arrived to the Lars Homestead, I was disappointed to see that the sand there was not actually sand at all, because the iglo was built in the middle of a dried salt lake. When you walk on it, it sounded like walking on frozen snow, so there was nothing I could pick up from there. After we experienced the famous sunset at the iglo, we headed back to Mos Espa for the sand.
Now, I\'m willing to sell the extra sand that I collected from there.
I\'ve put the sand into 50 ml glass containers with a cork on top and a label with the name Tatooine, the date, and the address of our website.
If you want to own an actual part of the saga (or maybe use it on your action figure diorama) this is the perfect memorabilia. As you can see from the photos, what you will get is the sand from right under the moisture vaporator in the Mos Espa town center.
