This is a wood carved OldWorld Santa, TIMOTHY CLAUS. Each OldWorld Santa represents a different country and holds a unique story.This one is from IRELAND – COUNTYLIMERICK and is a Special Edition. It was released in 1995 andexpired in 1997.

This Santa’s Story:

Feel free to check out theGreat American Collectibles web site to see the average prices of retiredSantas, usually averaging $80 - $105 per Santa. This is an attractive, well made Santacollection. Santas are 100% made in theUSA and made from the original wood carved mold. The Old World Santa Collection typicallymeasures 6 ¼” – 7 ½” in height. Because this is a Special Edition, this Santa is approx 2\" taller than the regular line. TheSantas in my collection were never displayed, but they have been opened. Please see photos for details.
