This listing is for an Art Deco Figural Lamp with Glass Disk in black. She is hallmarked Sarsaparilla, NY on the back of her fan base by the screw that holds the glass disk in place. This lamp does not have the original felt base, a new felt base will have to be placed or pads to protect your furniture. This lamp is dusty but to the best of my inspection, she does not have any paint chips. She stands 10\" tall without the glass disk in place and 10 1/2\" tall with the glass disk in place. The glass disk is new, 8 1/2\" in diameter and has no chips, cracks or fleabites to the glass. The glass is frosted and one side is smooth while the other side is a grainy texture. The disk is held in place by a screw setting and must not be tightened too tight or the glass will shatter. It is your choice to have the shiny or grainy side of the kdisk out. The nymph is standing and very feminine. The base length is 5\" long and the width is 3\". The cord is black fabric and 8\' long with an acorn plug. This lamp does not have an inline switch in the cord but one will be included in the sale. The inline switch will not be installed. This lamp has a standard size base for the lightbulb and the lightbulb will be included in this sale. These lamps were not made to take a high wattage bulb, they are truly accent lights only. The glass disk is included in this sale and is quite heavy and thick. It will be packed in the original box it was purchased in to protect it from damage. The lamp does work but this lamp is old. The wiring is old and I do not recommend using this lamp without a qualified electrician inspecting and/or replacing the wiring for safety.
