QUALITY 1930/40\'s SAXBO COLLECTIBLE VASE IS BEING OFFERED FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION!
This sophisticated stoneware vase was artistically designed by none other than Eva Stæhr-Nielsen for Saxbo Studio!
It has a gourd-like shape with a creamy, straw-yellow background that is decorated with a repeating grey dot design.
Note the interesting effect of the Hare\'s Fur glaze!
The measurements are: 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall and 5.25 inches (13 cm) wide
This lovely collectible is in excellent condition!
It is marked with the older Saxbo yin-yang symbol, \"Saxbo Danmark\" and the model number 121.This yin-yang symbol was used in the period from from 1937-1949 andwas paired together with the word \"Danmark\" (not \"Denmark\") only during 1937-1945.
Saxbo (1930-1968) is now widely recognized as one of the finest independent ceramic studios in Scandinavia with art pieces in museums throughout the world.
