Very Nice Souvenir Teacup and Saucer from Kingston Ontario.Color transfer Image is of the Armory Kingston Ontario.Both cup and saucer are marked on bottom,Made in Germany.Typical Pink German China from Late Victorian Period 1890s.Teacup has color transfer on one side.Shows blockhouse stone type buildingwith turrets.Teacup has relief edging and design.Gold is layered on the high relief.Theteacup has both pink glaze as well as a light green yellow glaze to sides.Saucer has pink glaze with gold rimmed edge.Teacup measures 3.25 inches high x 4 1/4 inches wide from handle to lip.Saucer measures 6 inches wide.Condition:Teacup in wonderful condition.No chips,cracks,dings or damage.Upper rimedge has most of the gold worn away but the rest on the cup is in wonderfulcondition.Saucer in very nice condition.No chips or dings .It has one tiny pressure crack near edge about 5mmlong and is hard to notice.Most of the gold on the rimmed edge has worn away and some of the middletrim is worn aswell.Overall a very nice matched set of German Pink Bone China from 1890s circa.
