I have a very large collection of music periodicals such as this, and will be putting them up over the next month or so.

The Scene is an alternative weekly newspaper that began inthe early 1970’s. Based out of Cleveland, OH. It contained articles, classifiedadvertising, and highlights on Cleveland area arts, music, dining andfilms. There is a section for a Scheduleof Happenings. Movie reviews and album reviews. It’s like a Time Machine Journey going thruthese papers. 8-track and cassettetapes. Vinyl. $3 concert tickets, introduction of bandsthat have lasted 40+ years, fading out of others, adverts for SCHLITZbeer! Other nostalgic adverts as well.

This issue is in good condition with browning to the paperas is common for this age. Slight brittleness, but not to the point of fragile. No cutoutsand no inner markings or writing. Small tear/fold to lower edge of front page. Now preserved in an acid-free archival bag.
