Tiny scent bottle in sterling silver with Guilloche enameling. The engine turned pattern under the enamel is more of a geometric, column, effect instead of swirls more often seen. The aqua blue enamel is in excellent condition and is outlined in black enamel. From the flat front the bottle steps down to a raised swag and line border. The sides are smooth silver and step down into another tiny raised border. The back is plain silver. It\'s shape is narrow from below the screw lid and angles out to the base, which has cut corners with a soft ogee edge and a straight bottom edge. It\'s a beautiful, graceful, shape. The rounded cap screws off smoothly and reveals a tiny, straight, rod \'dauber\'. \'Sterling\' is marked on the bottom edge of the back. It\'s pleasing visually and to the touch. My estimate of the age is early 1900\'s into the 1920\'s.SIZE: 1 5/8\" H x 15/16\" W x 3/16\" DCONDITION: Very Good vintage. No damage to the aqua enameling, two tiny \"flea bites\" (barely visible) in the black enamel border. Tiny indentation in the back.Please zoom over photos to verify condition.
