I found thisSchoenau and Hoffmeister (Germany) Antique doll at an Estate in Southern Florida. ArthurSchoenau owned a doll factory – 1884-on.Her markings: S (PB) H; MoldNumber: 1906 10; Germany. Tag on back ofdoll reads: Made in Germany. She is approximately 24.5” tall. She is fully jointed and made from porcelain bisque(head) and a child’s composition body. Pleaselook closely at the pictures. Her mouthis open. She has brown glass sleepingeyes. The eyes in the picture show thatthey are not quite open; they do open fully but sometimes stick. All of her joints are working. There is a slight chip on the front of theright big toe. Some crazing, smallcracks, and discoloration. Her bisquehead moves from side to side and is in good to excellent condition. She appears to be redressed. She will come with the outfit shown in thepicture the wig (dark strawberry blonde) will be included as well (don’tbelieve it is the original wig). Somestaining on outfit and socks; natural aging as well. This lovely Antique doll is a real find. Priced at an affordable price, you won’t wantto miss the chance to adopt her.
