Take a close look at this. You are now offerding on a Schrade 75th anniversary presentation knife. It was made in 1979 commemorating the years 1904-1979. This is a fantastic piece of cutlery. It is a 5 1/2\" closed single blade clasp knife, has fully engraved bolsters and is handled in genuine Indian stag. The bolsters and shield are made from sterling silver. The shieldon the frontis missing. Local Jeweler or silversmith should have no problem creating a new one.The blade has a full black and gold etching of the original Schrade building in Walden, NY. It is housed in the original cardboard box anda custom wood display box complete with the original sterling silver edition certificate. It is serial number #209. This is an investment gradeknife.Description from the Old Timer Almanac dated March 1979\"To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of making high quality knives, Schrade Cutlery will make a limited edition of the $1,000.00 retail knife. This knife illustrated in detail on page 6, will be a deluxe version of the standerd 75th Anniversary knife.
