Here is a Gorgeous Scottish Provincial Large Table Spoon Made in 1811 by the Noted Silversmith, John Heron of Greenock
This Top Quality Fiddle Pattern Sterling Table Spoon was made in Greenock and sent to Edinburgh to be Assayed and Hallmarked
Three Scroll Initials are engraved on the Front of the Handle

The Table Spoon is nine inches long (9 ins / 22.5 cms) and weighs almost three ounce (2.9 ounces / 65 grams) of hallmarked Scottish sterling silver.
This fine Table Spoon is in lovely condition with no damage or repairs. It has a fine soft hallmarks shown above are the maker’s mark of the name “Heron” in script for the noted provincial silversmith, John Heron of Greenock, the duty mark the head of King George the Third, the castle town mark for Edinburgh, the thistle guarantee mark for Scottish Sterling Silver, and the letter “f” the date letter for 1811.
